Family historian, Dr. Frank “Mike” Davis, will discuss his step-by-step approach to learning the stories behind all the dates and facts accumulated while researching our ancestors. Dr. Davis, owner of RootsQuestPress, featured recently in the Enquirer, researched his wife’s ancestors to uncover the stories of her Smith family, who were instrumental in the development of Norwood. Utilizing a discussion format, Dr. Davis will share the methods used to uncover the gems in the family history.
He is currently authoring several genealogy-based history books with the theme: “The Formation of the USA, from the Mayflower Pilgrims to the Civil War, Through the Davis Family’s Eyes.”
